HR Committees

Honoring Our Colleagues is an employee recognition program where SLZUSD employees recognize our peers for the outstanding work they are doing in our District.  Four employees (two certificated and two classified) will be recognized each month from September through June each year.  Colleagues can be recognized for their performance in any of the following categories: Creative Thinking/Lateral Thinking, High Quality Work Product, Performance in any Specialized Area, Problem Solving, Resilience, Superior Customer Service.

The Recognition Committee is comprised of members of SEIU, CSEA, SLEA and SLMA.  Employees are encouraged to complete the nomination form below, save and email to Sandy Vincent in the Human Resources Department. Nominations will be reviewed by the SLZUSD Employee Recognition Committee.

The District Benefits Committee is comprised of members of SEIU, CSEA, SLEA and SLMA.  The purpose of the District Benefits Committee is to study and report on changes brought about by state and federal law and/or regulations that impact health and welfare benefits plans in an effort to maintain or improve benefits.
