Welcome to the department and Office of Student Support Services. Our goal is to ensure educational success and transformation for all students. Through the support of my office, we endeavor to provide the necessary support systems, aiding students and families in maximizing their educational experience within the San Lorenzo Unified School District. Our staff is dedicated to providing the best level of quality service through the lens of integrity and respect. In mission, we strive to partner with all district and site-based departments to close the academic achievement gap and prepare students for solid futures.
In part, the Office of Student Support Services manages issues from the district level that are related to truancy (SART/SARB), residence verifications (home visits), Section-504 Plans, the DICE Program, Inter District Transfer Applications, School Choice placements, Open Enrollment, transcript requests, summer work permits, student enrollment, expulsions, the Re-Entry Program, McKinney-Vento Homeless Program, The Parent Project, Alameda County mental health services, Foster Youth services, and other matters related to discipline.
