San Lorenzo Unified School District supports student acquisition of 21st Century skills through the laptop program. Professional development and classroom support is provided to teachers using laptops in their classrooms.

The Intel Essentials Course will be offered again this fall. This comprehensive 32 hour professional development workshop supports teachers with technology tools and strategies. The program promotes the use of 21st Century skills in the classroom. The classroom implementation encourages students to be more self-directed and use higher-order thinking skills. Technology integration reflects real world applications and supports curriculum standards.

Free Professional Development. Our popular Wednesday workshops!
The Instructional Materials Technology Center (IMTC) Wednesday workshops are open to all employees of the San Lorenzo Unified School District and to private school teachers at schools that have elected to participate in Title 2, Part D. The workshops also welcome teachers from the East Bay BTSA Induction program. In-district credit is available for attending these workshops.
Wednesday workshops support standards-based curriculum and the San Lorenzo Unified School District Technology Integration Matrices. The creativity of teachers is respected and encouraged.
Workshops relate to the scope and sequence developments and adopted curriculum.
Professional development to support district assessment initiatives are also featured workshops.
With the right tools teachers and students can be inspired and accomplish great things!
