Welcome to Grant Elementary School! Our school is a wonderful place where teachers, staff, students, and parents work together to create an environment where children love to learn and academic success for all students is our goal.
Located in the heart of the San Lorenzo community, Grant School is home to approximately 430 students with a family-like atmosphere. Students are nurtured and supported by an exemplary and dedicated staff.
We are a Title I school and our educational program is supported by classroom teachers, a special education teacher, a speech and language therapist, a school psychologist, a reading teacher and literacy coach. In addition to support our students we have a library aide, an English Learner (EL) instructional assistant, a special education instructional assistant, a music teacher and physical education teachers.
We encourage you to be a part of the exciting learning activities at Grant School. Parents can volunteer in many ways: assist in the classroom, join the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), attend School Site Council (SSC) meetings, be a part of the Site English Learner Advisory Committee (SELAC), or lend a hand on special school wide projects. Parental involvement is not only welcomed, it is essential to the success of our school.
Thank you for being part of our learning community.
Sincerely,
Vanessa Bramlett
Interim Principal
