On Tuesday, October 14th our school learned that we were the victim of an overnight burglary. A window in a class was shattered, giving entry to the burglar(s).  A heavy duty lock was then cut, presumably with large bolt cutters, on a metal cabinet housing 31 white Mac book laptops.  Thirty of the laptops were taken; an estimated $45,000 will be required to replace them.  The laptops were in daily use by AHS students in science, health, English and social science. We are asking the school community for your help in this matter. A $500 reward is offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person involved. If you have any knowledge of this crime you are asked to call the school at 317-4010. If you wish to leave an anonymous tip you can call after 9:00 pm and leave a message. Anonymous tips will not be eligible for the reward money.
