The Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) is a consortium of school districts that serve the common needs of their students. San Lorenzo Unified School District is a member of the MAC-SELPA which includes the Hayward, Castro Valley, and San Leandro Unified School Districts. The MAC-SELPA is responsible for ensuring that all students have full educational opportunity regardless of their district of residence within the SELPA. Community Advisory Committee (CAC) (click title for link to website)
The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is comprised of residents from each district within the MAC-SELPA whose role is to give input in the planning and operation of special education in the SELPA.
