BrainPOP creates animated resources that support educators and engage students - in school, at home, and on mobile devices. Our content includes movies, quizzes, games, mobile apps, activity pages, and much more covering hundreds of topics. Student accounts are associated with their accounts.

Typing Club allows students to learn touch typing using free games and educational programs. Student accounts are associated with their accounts. The program keeps track of their progress as long as they are students at SLZUSD. Students can use this program year to year and during the summer months to improve their skills.

Khan Academy offers exercises, instructional videos which allow learners to have individualized lessons inside and outside of the classroom.  They have partnered with institutions like NASA, Them Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences and MIT to offer specialized content.

CK-12 is a non-profit organization focused on STEM curriculum, grades K-12. They are committed to sharing Open Educational Resources (OER), free under the Creative Commons Share-Alike, Non-Commercial, and By Attribution license. Teachers can select topics by Common Core State Standards or by grade level and subject.

GeoGebra is free mathematics website for K-12 education that brings together interactive learning for geometry, algebra, spreadsheets, graphing, statistics and calculus concepts.

Biology Cell Puzzle is a set of interactive web-based games that focus on the structure of the cell, identification of cell parts and differences between plant and animal cells.
WeVideo is online video editor that is easy for students to use.  It is connected to the student GAFE accounts and allows them to add pictures and music to create their own videos for reports and presentations.
Pixlr is a browser-based photo editor that is very similar to Photoshop.  The program allows the user to create pictures and work on them using layers and insert special effects.
