Become a Teacher with San Lorenzo

In the spring of 2023, San Lorenzo Unified School District negotiated a 20% increase in pay and benefits for all employees, teachers included, that took full effect last July. Talks are underway for an additional increase in compensation for 2024-25. The current teacher salary schedule is available here.

We seek applicants for TK-12 teaching vacancies and positions anticipated during the 2024-25 school year.

We welcome candidates with teaching credentials in special education and all subject areas and will advise applicants with a bachelor's degree on how to obtain an emergency credential, good for one year. What's most important is that you have a passion for education and share our proud commitment to student success, anti-racism, restorative practices and community well-being.

In addition, we hire teachers through the Alder Graduate School of Education, which offers a $45,750 cost-of-living stipend for its one-year graduate residency program in special education and specific high-needs subject areas, including math and science.

Finally, we continue to hire full-time substitutes through ESS.com.
