As part of our ongoing efforts to improve technology access and equity for our students, we have compiled a range of resources for parents on this page. As a 2:1 school district, we are pleased to provide students with access to both a Chromebook laptop at home and one in the classroom. This helps to ensure that all students have the tools they need to fully participate in their education. Additionally, we encourage parents to get more involved in their student's learning experience through the use of Canvas, a powerful learning management system. What is Canvas?
Digital learning relies heavily on the use of a learning management system (LMS) to facilitate communication, collaboration, and access to resources between teachers and students. An LMS is an online platform that serves as a centralized hub for posting and receiving assignments, quizzes, discussions, and projects. It is also where teachers can provide ongoing feedback to students and communicate learning progress to families. By utilizing an LMS, teachers, and students can stay connected and engage with course materials and activities in a convenient and efficient manner.
