District Microsoft Licensing

The San Lorenzo Unified School District has purchased Office 365 licenses for staff and students. The single username and password serves as the network login, as well as access to installed and  online versions of Office 365.

Office 365

Installed Version - Staff and students who are working on computers that have been upgraded to Windows 10 have Office 2016 installed on them.  (Please refer to the Windows 10 Quick Start Guide for our favorite new features.)
Online Version - Staff and students (grades 2-12) can go to portal.office.com to log in to Office 365 Online where they can access their OneDrive, Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online, and other Microsoft apps.

Windows 10 Migration

Microsoft will end support for Windows 7 in January of 2020. We will no longer get security
updates and new feature support, which leaves desktop and laptop computers running on the
Windows 7 interface exposed. Windows 7 and 10 computers are currently coexisting without a problem in the District. CMS are coordinating/scheduling the Windows 10 updates at their respective sites.
