Our Family Resource Center provides the following:

MKV

The Homeless Education Program can provide resources and support for students and families who may be:

  • In a shelter
  • In a motel, hotel, or weekly rate housing
  • In a house or apartment with more than one family due to economic hardship or loss
  • In an abandoned building, in a car, at a campground, or on the street
  • With friends or family because you are a runaway or an unaccompanied youth

Foster Youth Services can provide resources and support for those connected to the Foster Youth system under California law AB 490.

 


 
Clipper cards

Secondary students may be eligible for a FREE Clipper Card that provides:

  • Free Bus fare on AC Transit
  • 50% discount on BART

Safe haven Schools

Safe Havens are local educational agencies (LEAs), which include school districts, county offices of education, and direct-funded charter schools that have committed themselves to reassuring students, parents, and educators that everyone is welcome on school sites, regardless of immigration status. Safe Havens also provide helpful resources, such as information about immigration laws, and ways to be prepared in case a student or family member is deported.
