New Student Enrollment

Use this checklist to prepare the required documentation for enrollment. Have all documents ready BEFORE starting your online enrollment application. Documents may be uploaded directly to the application, emailed to [email protected], or submitted in person at the enrollment office.

Required Documents Checklist

Proof of Guardianship

A copy of one of the following documents must be provided to verify guardianship. Acceptable documents include:

• Picture ID
• Passport
• Court Document

Student's Proof of Birth

A copy of one of the following documents must be provided for each student to verify age eligibility. Acceptable documents include:

• Birth Certificate
• Passport
• Baptism Certificate
• Statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth

Any other legal documentation related to your child

Submit the following documentation if applicable to your student (not applicable to all families). Examples of documents required:

• Court Appointed Guardianship
• Custodial
• Protective Order

Required Immunizations/Vaccination History

Enrollment cannot be completed until all CA immunization requirements are met.

Transferring from another school/district

• Most recent report card/progress report
• For high school transfers, submit the most recent transcript
• Withdrawal form from the last school, stating the grade level assigned for the current year (if transferring in the middle of the school year)
• IEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)

• Select the correct school year for when your student will start (2025-2026 for starting NOW; 2026-2027 for next school year).
• You need an email address to complete online enrollment.
• You need to upload all required documents before submitting the online enrollment.
• You do NOT need to physically type in your student’s immunization information; we only need the uploaded document.
• To show that you have read all the documents in the enrollment portal, you must open and close each document, even if you do not print them.
• You do NOT need to print any documents to complete your enrollment.

Aeries Online Enrollment Guide

Upon submission, the student's information is electronically sent to the District Enrollment Office for processing. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The District Enrollment Office will contact you to schedule a either a phone appointment or in-person appointment to review and finalize your enrollment application.

If any of the necessary documents are missing, you may receive an email requesting the missing documentation. 

Once enrollment is finalized, you will receive an email confirmation with additional information.
