Canvas, Our Learning Management System
Digital learning relies heavily on the use of a learning management system (LMS) to facilitate communication, collaboration, and access to resources between teachers and students. An LMS is an online platform that serves as a centralized hub for posting and receiving assignments, quizzes, discussions, and projects. It is also where teachers can provide ongoing feedback to students and communicate learning progress to families. By utilizing an LMS, teachers, and students can stay connected and engage with course materials and activities in a convenient and efficient manner.
Canvas is the official learning management system for San Lorenzo Unified School District.

We encourage parents to ask their children about how technology is being integrated into their classroom curriculum and assignments. Not only can this help parents stay informed about their child's education, but it can also provide an opportunity for children to share their knowledge and skills with their parents. By encouraging your child to show you these tools and resources, you can help foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the role that technology plays in their education.
