SLZUSD Software Approval
Welcome, and thank you for protecting student data privacy!
To meet state and federal requirements, all software used and/or recommended by San Lorenzo Unified School District educators must be properly licensed and compliant with the various laws and regulations, including the following student data privacy policies. In addition, the user must have read, comprehended, and agreed to adhere to the software's Terms of Use Agreement:
How to Request Software Approval
To help identify compliant software, California IT in Education (CITE) developed the California Student Privacy Alliance (CSPA), a collaboration of California school districts that share common student privacy concerns. CSPA provides a searchable database of vendors who have signed the statewide compliance agreement—the National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA)—with at least one school or district.
As a San Lorenzo USD educator, use the NDPA Agreements Search tool to find vendors with signed NDPA agreements. If an active agreement exists between a vendor and another California school district, SLZUSD may also be added as a participant.
If you've located an agreement and would like approval, or if you need assistance finding an agreement, submit a HelpSTAR request. We're happy to help!
