Hispanic Serving Institution (HSIs) College Tour
Ready to explore your college options? Join SLzUSD's Hispanic Serving Institution (HSIs) College Tour from February 8-12, 2027, and experience college life firsthand!
Students will visit 10 colleges and universities throughout Central and Southern California, including California State Universities (CSUs), Universities of California (UCs) and private colleges. This is an exciting opportunity to explore different campuses, learn about academic programs and student life, and discover which college environment may be the right fit for you.

The student application is now open for the HSIs College Tour - Spring 2027! To apply, log in using your student district Gmail account and complete the application online. Application is October 15, 2026.

Who Can Participate?
This opportunity is available to 40 current SLzUSD students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. The only cost is a $100 enrollment fee for interested students to participate. The majority of the tour cost is paid by SLzUSD!

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) College Tour
Get ready for an unforgettable college exploration experience! SLzUSD's HBCUs College Tour will take place March 21-26, 2027, giving student the opportunity to visit nine Historically Black Colleges and Universities across 5 states. This exciting opportunity is open to 30 current SLzUSD high school students.
