Schools and the District Office in the SLZUSD will be open today, Sept. 20, while monitoring the impact of smoke that has spread into the Greater Bay Area from wildfires in Northern California and Oregon.
The schools will continue to follow guidance from the Alameda County Public Health Department and monitor local air quality via the website https://www.airnow.gov/ (enter your ZIP code).
