District English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC)

All parents want their children to prosper, regardless of their birthplace, first language, residency, or ethnicity.

To ensure their success, it is important to take an active role in developing healthy and constructive relationships with the school and provide input and feedback on the programs and progress of our students.

Your participation in DELAC is a great way to be involved in your children’s education! 

• What: districtwide committee of representatives from each site, TK-12
• Who: parents, caregivers, guardians, staff, secondary-level students, and community members who advocate for English Learners (ELs)
• About: DELAC advises district officials and the school board on English Learner programs & services and Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)
