About the Office of CCE

 

The work of communications and community engagement for the San Lorenzo Unified School District is ultimately all about promoting the success of more than 8,000 students from transitional kindergarten (TK) through adult education, across 17 school sites, as well as supporting students' families.

 

Specific objectives driving this work are:

  • Stabilizing and growing enrollment
  • Retaining and attracting a talented district workforce of people passionate about student success
  • Building awareness, pride, and support for the district among employees, families, and the greater community

Reporting to the superintendent of schools, leads a team to provide services for strategic and crisis communications, family communications, social media, special events, media relations, website content management, marketing, design, printing, and community relations on behalf of SLZUSD.
